NITRO BASKETBALL CAMP

Location: 20 Automatic Rd Unit 1. Brampton, Ont, Canada

FOR BOYS & GIRLS. 8 - 13 YEARS OLD

The Nitro Basketball Camp is a 5 day camp designed to help all intermediate level hoopers & fitness seekers improve their Basketball skills, but more importantly, Fitness ability! For Fitness, Campers will go through daily Full Body Workouts (Resistance Training), Athletic Workouts (Jumping + Speed), Agility Drills (Lateral Quickness), & tons of stretching to improve posture & flexibility. Fat loss & muscle toning is just one of many benefits of our fitness & basketball program.

SKILL LEVEL

Class: Boys or Girls Fitness & Basketball Foundations

​

If you have experience and need to establish fundamental skills for working out & basketball

(Suggested Ages: Boys & Girls 8-13)

​

* The key to this program is that all campers learn how to exercise safely & more effectively  + continue building healthy habits from home. Many of the exercises and workouts can be completed from home using a set of dumbbells.

Daily Basketball Training includes drills to improve:

​

  • Dribbling

  • Shooting

  • Defense

  • Offense

  • Footwork

  • Court Awareness

  • Core (Abs & low back)

  • Agility

  • Speed

  • Mobility

  • Flexibility

  • And much more...

​

Both morning & afternoon will be similar with classes starting with stretch/ warmup, workout, basketball training & basketball games.

LOOK BELOW FOR YOUR DAILY PROTEIN CONSUMPTION RECOMMENDATION (TARGET WEIGHT IN POUNDS X .8).
100 x .8 = 80 grams per day
110 x .8 = 88 grams per day
120 x .8 = 96 grams per day
130 x .8 = 104 grams per day
140 x .8 = 112 grams per day
150 x .8 = 120 grams per day
160 x .8 = 128 grams per day
170 x .8 = 136 grams per day
180 x .8 = 144 grams per day
190 x .8 = 152 grams per day
200 x .8 = 160 grams per day
225 x .8 = 180 grams per day
250 x .8 = 200 grams per day

 
Count your protein for 1-2 days to give you an idea of how much protein you should be having. After that, you'll never have to count again unless you truly desire to. Adequate protein intake is very important to follow Nitro Athletes for amazing results. Use google or apps like myfitnesspal to help count your protein intake.
