NINKO'S BOOTCAMP (50 MINUTES)
Difficulty: This class is geared towards beginners and intermediate level clients. Go at your own pace and get better with time.
Equipment Needed: Mat or towel to lie on, any size dumbbells and booty band. You can purchase Nitro booty bands from us. We sell 3 bands (easy, medium & hard) as a package for $40. One band individually is $25.
Dumbbell weight: The Dumbbell weight is up to you and your level. Look at weights-like levels. 1 pound is level 1. The bigger the weight the higher the level. Most of the members use 5, 8, 10 and 15-pound dumbbells. We encourage you to continue to challenge yourself on levels if you wish for more strength results. Light weights is perfectly fine to use. We focus on mind muscle connection and going at your own pace. You will achieve great results with consistency. The goal of this program is to deliver you new full-body workouts to help make fitness fun and sustainable over a lifetime. If you want to be healthier and fitter when you're older, you need to start developing good habits now.
Rain or Shine: The only way classes will be cancelled is if there is lighting or thunder 5-minutes prior to class or during class. Please keep in mind, we can always find shelter under the picnic areas. Please dress warm and dress appropiately.
This Outdoor Fitness class is taught by Bootcamp Specialist, Coach Ninko. This class is offered 8 times per month or 16 times if you're willing to make the 1-hour commute. This class was designed to help everyone get back in shape and re-motivated to start exercising and eating healthier. Each class starts with static stretching to help release muscle tension, followed by dynamic stretching, mobility movements, warm up, cardio, and a complete full-body resistance training workout. We do traditional fitness routines, super-sets, circuits, cardio & HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style workouts. You'll learn how to exercise safely with tempo, and the importance of a healthy balanced diet. Ninko asks his clients to walk or do something active every single day and feel free to do additional workouts from home or the gym. Ninko will be posting plenty of workouts, tips & stretches on youtube to help you become even healthier. Subscribe to Ninko's World today! Ninko wants boot campers to focus on tempo and mind-muscle connection. All levels can join in and modifications will be given to super beginners and more advanced clients. Let's burn some calories, build lean muscle, and learn how you can enjoy your favourite foods but stay on track. Stop comparing yourself to other because the health and fitness journey is for yourself. Let's try again, but with a take it slow mindset. This way you don't feel rushed, pressured and make things harder than they need to be. Slow and steady will produce quality results that can last longer than high intensity nutrition and fitness ways. Try eating healthier most days and exercising 2-3 days per week instead of everyday.
